Job Opportunities for Civil Engineers in Indian Army?

You can very well get an Army job being an civil engineer. There are different exams like-
- CDS (Combined defense services)
- AFCAT

The basic eligibility criteria for such exams are-
1) Age- 20-24 years
2) Graduation
3) Indian Citizen
4) Male candidate.

There are various vacancies in Indian Army, navy and Air force for the b.tech graduates mainly of the 4 branches i.e.
Electrical,
Electronics,
Civil and
Mechanical

Since you belong to the civil branch so, there are lots of opportunities for you to be serve the nation in your field.

The exams which i have mentioned above occur a couple of times in the year. their notification comes in around November and May. So, if you really want to be part of Indian Army or Air force or Navy, then you should definitely keep an eye on exams like these.

Reseantly i have completed my diploma 3rd year(civil) now i m in training sixth Sem i want to join in Indian army what is the procedure to join in it.can i have any job in my study field.
