Sir,
i'm pursuing B.Tech civil Engineering in final year.i want to join isro after completing my b.tech.can i know is there any opportunity to join isro in civil engineering stream.what is selection procedure and date of exam.

You can join ISRO as a 'Graduate Apperentice' which is for civil,mechnical,electrical,electronics & communication engineers.

The minimum eligibility for it is you must have passed engineering with atleast 60%aggregate including all semesters.

However salary is not so handsome,you will get 5000/-under training and 8000/- after that.

you can join isro only after graduation,so complete it first

the ISRO is having many departments an the job requirement of each department is deferent,if there is an vacancy in civil department then the isro will give an notification in employment news,keep looking for it

How is the placement for the civil engg after Pg in IIT's and NIT's .....?????? From various sources i have come to know that after m.tech one is maily focussed on the teaching/professor line ...but i want to go in to the job ..will i have good chances for that aftr doing m.tech..?

every year ISRO select the candidate in process one process is those are qualify GATE exam with good score are called for direct interview.

And 2 nd option is first you have to cleared written exam then you will faces for interview.

Only B-TECH student are eligible for ISRO.

ISRO is not for all branches it recruit particular branch engineers .For Graduate
Apprentice only following streams students are eligible :

Civil
Mechanical
Electrical
Electronics & communication engineers.

if you will completed your engineering and passed it with the 65 % from the recognized university.

then you can apply for ISRO company .

in starting you will not get good salary but after few years experience you will get good salary.
