hi friend.... you can go to kalinga university by lateral entry.....or manipal by lateral entry...so you can apply for lateral entry in kalinga till 27th february..its the last date of acceptance of application form. so...go fast.

there is many good engineering college in India for civil engineering which can take the admission in second year through lateral entry.
without diploma certificate there is no any college in India which will take your admission directly in the second year.

hi friend there are many good colleges in which you can take adminission in 2nd year,but you have to give the extrance exam of that colleage,otherwise colleges which offer direct admission is not good in ranking,so it better to forge about direct adminission

The best colleges/universities are as follows-

Bengal Engineering college
Delhi college of engineering
Malviya national institute of technology,jaipur
Birla institute of technology and science,pilani
Birla institute of technology, Ranchi
and many good college.........

In MP all Colleges offer admissions in 2nd year after diploma.
Especially in civil are:
SGSITS, Indore
UEC, Ujjain,
IET DAVV, INdore
MIT, Gwalior
GEC, Rewa
GEC, Jabalpur
GEC, Vidisha
and many private colleges.

Sorry there are not many good institutes which offer's direct entry through the marks scored in Diploma like no IIT's,NIT's or any other such good institutes provide you a seat unless you go through the IIT/AIEEE/CET.

But there are some colleges under Mumbai University,Anna university,JNTU which offers you direct entry but these will be the left over seats after councelling for the members who have come through lateral entry with CET rank.
