i am a stdent of B.tech(ece). what are the available jobs in govt. sectors like PSU's??

There are many jobs available in Government companies.Some of the posts which you can try out for like Executive Trainees,Technical Assistant and other such similar posts.Many of the companies elect Electronic Engineering students because they have a good idea about the Control Systems and other such Electronic Concepts used to control the electrical and mechanical machines.The usage of Power Electronic Instruments have been high now a days hence there are many companies who offer jobs for ECE Graduates.Some of the companies which you can try out are:-

BEL, BHEL, ISRO, DRDO, HAL, SAIL, GAIL..etc

The notifications and details regarding the exam will be put up in the company's official website.You can even prefer top newspaper's like 'The Hindu' and the weekly journal Employment News to get details about the core sector jobs.

You can even go through the IES exam conducted by the UPSC for getting a job a s an Engineer in Defense, Railways and other sectors.you can even go through the exams conducted by State Public Service Commission.Other than the Government Sector you can try out in private sector for companies like Samsung,LG,Vodafone,Airtel,.etc.

But for govt, job there have need some minimum eligibity:

*you should be minimum 18 years old for genaral posts and for upper level minimum age requerred 21 .
*Have an educational qualifications against different types of posts.
*After submit educational qualifications you have to apper at written exam.
*For difance level you must have good physical fitness with education quqlity.
*And have n't any criminal record.

3.BSNL JTO

4.SAIL

5.BHEL

7.UPSC Civil Service Exam

8.Defense exams..

9.Bank PO exam..

You can apply for these PSU jobs.. For that you have to appear in Different PSU exams.. If you get selected in the written test then you have to go through the interview.. So go for it..

hi, I have done my graduation from delhi University BA(Pass) in 2005 with 47% and I have also done O Level Diploma from DEOACC Society. I am working last 4 years in many govt. and PSUs sector on contract basis as a assistant / CCE profile but still I did not get permanent job. I want to get permanent job and work experience in MTNL, NDPL, PFC,Barclays Finance. Is there any permanent job in PSUs sector according to may qualification and experience based.

About 277 PSU's operate in India generating a lot of jobs every year.

These companies recruit engineers from across the country by conducting various exams of their own.
