Re: Is diploma degree considered for getting a Government job?
I am very sorry to say that you are not eligible to avail a job in PSUs as you qualification is not upto the mark as required by any PSUs.
There are however many government sectors that recruits Diploma holders for various posts. Some of them are named below; Govt. PSU - Diploma Holders recruiting Companies (Government owned Corporation): BHEL BEL Coal India HPCL EIL BPCL Mazagon Dock MECON NACL NLC NMDC SAIL NTPC IOCL ONGC Power Grid Railtel RITES UCI and More. The basic requirement for the aspirants is possessing 3 Years full time Diploma in engineering discipline from AICTE / Government approved Institutions and Universities which were present in India. However, you do not fulfil any of the above mentioned criteria, therefore according to the requirements you are not eligible to avail a government job. |

Most of the Government jobs require AICTE approved Diploma and if you don't have this then you may not be eligible for most of the Government jobs. AICTE is very essential for technical course if you are applying for Government jobs. You can try for private jobs in various companies with this Diploma. There is no such issue in private companies.

Re: Is diploma degree considered for getting a Government job?
No you cannot apply for govt jobs. AICTE approval or affiliation is compulsory for any technical course to be deemed as valid for govt jobs. You would not be eligible for state govt or central govt or semi govt PSUs.
Moreover you may face much difficulty in getting admission in Govt colleges and a lot of private colleges as well if you want to complete graduation degree. For private sector jobs, certain firms does have strict standards regarding recognition and affiliations but most companies would allow you to have a good job.So keep trying for private jobs. And do not get falsely attracted towards part time courses without checking recognition or affiliations etc.It could spoil your entire career in addition to wasting your resources, time and money. |
