Question Papers of Postal Assistant Exam

Postal Assistant exam is conducted by the deportment of postal govt of India .

You must completed the 10+2 with minimum 60 % of marks from recognized board , then you are applicable for Postal Assistant Exam.

If you are reserved category candidate then you can secured only 55 % of marks and required minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should be 27 years and here age relaxation available for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.

Question are coming from General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Reasoning & Analytical Ability section so prepare well .They conduct also computer typing skill test so be careful on it .

Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

=> Every year by the Department of Postal Govt. of India Postal Assistant Exam and Sorting Assistant Exam is conducted. They publishes a notification so that the interested candidates can submit their application forms on time and then a recruitment examination is conducted which is the main determining factor when selecting the deserving candidates for this exam.

=> If you are interested to give this exam then you need to be higher secondary passed out or its equivalent from a recognized school or institution. You need to secure minimum 60% of marks in aggregate if you are a general category candidate.

=> For the reserved category candidates there is percentage relaxation. For the OBC category candidates the percentage to secure is 50% in aggregate while the SC/ST candidates needs to get 45% of marks or above to give this exam.

=> Your age should not be less than 18 years when applying for this exam. This is the lower age limit binding on all categories. The upper age limit for general category candidate is 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable for the reserved category candidates.

=> So that you do not face any communication problem when interacting with the residents of the postal circle concerned, you need to know the local language of the State of the postal circle in question.

=> It will help further if you have studied hindi at matriculation level or above and therefore you are quite well versed in this language. Since this is the official language of our country so you can use this as the common medium of communication.

=> The total time limit for the exam is 120 minutes and within this short span of time you will have to answer 100 objective questions of 100 marks each. Each question will carry one mark each. Questions will be mainly conceptual type.

=> Questions for the exam will be mainly objective types and there will be four options for each question and you have to choose the right one. For the exam stress on the following sections: General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Reasoning & Analytical Ability.

=> Application forms for the exam will be available from the head post offices and other post offices in the postal circle concerned. Cost of the application form is Rs. 50. Examination fee is Rs. 200 and it need not be paid by the SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates.
