i want to give C Dac entrance in 2011-2012 so plz tell me last date exam form last date and exam date with syllabus

Well sorry to say but the CDAC(Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) examination for this year has been over which means that you can apply next year only .This examination is done for the following full time Post Graduate Level Programs courses ::

Diploma in Embedded Systems Design
Diploma in System Software Development
Diploma in Advanced Business Computing

CDAC exam consists of two sections:

Section I ::Its consist of three parts :
Part A : Digital Design
Part B : Computer Architecture
Part C : Basic Electronics

Section II::
General Aptitude
Reasoning
English

CDAC CET Important Dates :

Last Date of Receiving CDAC CET 2011 Applications was::22.07.2011
Date of CDAC Common Entrance Test was ::31.07.2011

Which means that this year examination is over and you can try for next year only .The examination might be around same month in 2012.

Eligibility for CDAC::

You must have passed degree in ::

Computer Science & Engineering
Computer Engineering
Electronics
Electrical / Electronics & Communication
Information Technology or M.Sc Electronics

with 55 % marks aggregate .

iam an ece student perusing 4th b-tech ,please give me details on c-dac exam which is going to conduct on 2012 and what will be the cutoff for the exam.when will be the c-dac exam and is ther any negative marking.

Hye! I m Siddharth Malik. Plz tell me last date of entrance exam of CDAC. and process of apply in CDAC

CDAC stands for Centre for Development of Advanced Computing.

The courses for which you can apply are:-

1. Diploma in embedded system design
2. Diploma in system software development
3. Diploma in advanced business computing

The two sections of this exam are as follows:-

Section I- digital design, computer architecture, basic electronics.

Section II- general aptitude, reasoning and english.

Syllabus for the exam:-

Section 1:- computing fundamentals:- Operating systems, Primary and Secondary storage, Classification of computers, Evolutions of computers, Computer generations, Data communications and computer networking

Section 2:- fundamentals of programming:- Flowcharts, Algorithms, Data processing, File organizations, Computer languages, System implementation and operation

Section 3:- Programming in C:- Stacks, C Fundamentals, Functions, Arrays, Linked Lists, Queues, Introductory concepts, Structures and Unions.

Section 4:- Basic of OOPS and C++ programming:- Polymorphism, Classes and Objects, Abstract Classes, Object oriented concepts, Generalizations, Re-usability.

Section 5:- aptitude based:- General Aptitude.
