Hi friend,

I guess you want to know the last dates of application for NDA exam 2012. The notification for NDA exam has not yet been released. According to UPSC Exam calendar, The notification will be released on 31.12.2011 and last date of receipt of applications will be on 30.01.2012 (MONDAY).

The minimum educational qualification to appear in NDA conducted by UPSC twice in a year-
*High school qualification with minimum aggregate 60%,in any stream (Maths for Navy & Air force) or equivalent, from affiliated institute.
*Age limit-16.5-19 yr. At the time of joining.
The notification for NDA-April 2012 : 31 December,2011.
¤Last date to apply- 30, January 2012.
¤NDA-exam date-15, April 2012.

hey, in this time there is no notification for applying NDA.Notification will published on 31-12-2011 and last date wll be 30-01-2012.You must visit UPSC sitewww.upsc.gov.in for more details.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for NDA:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship:

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

The last date for submission of application form of NDA I exam is November 2011 and date of examination is April 2012. And for NDA II exam notification will be released on April 2012. The last date of submission of application form of NDA II exam is May 2012 and date of examination is August 2012.

Hi.

NDA is the National Defense Academy which is organized by the UPSC every year to select candidates for the Indian Defense.

Two exams are there :

1. NDA I
2. NDA II

Now there are certain criteria's which the applicants must fulfill for the successful application of his candidature :-

NDA 1 ::

1. Only unmarried male candidates can apply.

2. They should have passed class 12th with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognized board or university.

3. A relaxation of 10% is given to the SC/ST/OBC candidates.

4. Age limit is 16.5 to 19 years.

NDA 2 ::

1. A candidate should be a minimum graduate with minimum 60% marks in graduation from a recognized university.

2. Age of the candidates should be between 21-25 years

3. They should be physically fit.

Some Important Dates for NDA 1 are :

Release of application form - 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.

Date of Exam - 15th April 2012.

Some Important Dates for NDA-II are :

Release of application form - 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.

Date of Exam - 19th Aug 2012.

So prepare well.

NDA Exam held twice in the years as NDA I & NDA II. Through this exam you can join Indian Army, Navy & Air Force.

"NDA is for Unmarried Male candidates only"

Exam Pattern for NDA :

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.
