RRB- Railway Recruitment Board.

The candidates are selected through written test and personal interview.
The pattern for the exam is
1. General arithmetic.
2. Quantitative skills.
3. General awareness
4. Language- Hindi/English.
The duration for the exam is 1 1/2 hours.
The age limit for the exam is 18-30 years.There is a relaxation age for reserved candidates.
A degree from a recognized university with a bachelors degree.
The tentative dates for the exam is mid of April 2011.

The exams are conducted for various post like Technical and Non Technical Cadre, RPF Sub Inspector or Constable Exams. Some of the exams are held on an All India Basis and some on the region basis like North, South etc. Depending on the post vacancy the notifications of the same are released. Like the Northern Railways has issued a notification for the Group D post. For this the candidates who are 10th pass can apply. Also those who are awaiting results too can apply. The age limit specified is 18 to 33 years. Similarly if there is a vacancy for the Technical Cadre a minimum of graduation as the education qualification will be required. The notifications will have information about the eligibility criteria and how to apply for the post. You need to check based on your qualification.

Recruitment 2012:
Date of notification and form
availability: 10th March, 2012.
Last date for receipt of
completed form: 9th April, 2012
(17.30 hrs)
(For remote areas: 24th April,
2012)
Date of RRB written exam 2012:
