CPT stands for the Common Proficiency Test. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducts the entrance test in the month of June and December every year. Any candidate who has passed 10+2 from a recognized board can apply for the exam.
This is an objective test of 200 marks from different subjects like Accountancy, Economics, Mercantile law, Aptitude. The last date to register for June exam was 28/04/2015. The notification for the December exam will be released soon. The cost of books and practice papers of these subjects will be around Rs 2000. Official website www.icai.org. |

The Common Proficiency Test ( CPT) is open only to students registered with the Institute of Charted Accountants of India for the Common Proficiency course on or before 1st April / 1st October.
