SET Stands for State Eligiblity Test and to apply for SET Examination you need to complete your Post Graduate degree course with minimum 55% Marks, Final Year Post Graduate Candidates are also eligible to apply for SET Examination.

But I think you need the Information about Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship (SET) which was Accredited by U.G.C and Conducted by University Of Pune.

But I will Inform you that the Last Date of apply for SET Examination was already Over and The Written examination was going to be held on 07/Aug/2011.

The examination was held Only One time in a year and If you have missed the chance in this year then please dont worry Just apply for This examination Next Time OR Otherwise you can apply for December NET Examination, The Notification of NET Examination was Published Soon in the UGC Official website, But You have Missed the chance to apply for SET Examination.

Date of examination - Sunday, 7Th AUGUST 2011

Online Form Submission Starts - 9th MAY, 2011

Last Date of Online submission - 31st MAY, 2011

You not mentioned which state exam details,because various states are conduct this examination.But don't worry i will give full details of this examination.

SET i.e State Eligibility Test.

For this examination,the candidate should have a master degree from any recognized institution/University.

And the candidate must secure at least 55% marks in their examination.

Those in final year of a post graduation may also eligible to apply.

The examination is conducted every year and exam for this year is already conducted. you have missed the chance in this year because you can't apply at this time.you have to apply for next year examination.

hello,
Karnataka (DLN): Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET) Notification has been issued. K-SET Online registrations 2011 will be started from 30th March 2011. Online application will be closed on 5th May 2011. Last date for receipt of hard copy of the KSET application form is 10th May 2011.

Karnataka SET Exam will be held on 17th July 2011. Qualification required is Master’s Degree with 55%.
Before applying online, candidates should make sure that they have scanned passport size photograph in JPEG format and Copy of Bank Challan (fee receipt). After successful online submission, candidate should take Two copies of online Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admission Card on separate papers.
