What is the last date for submission of IAS entrance exam forms?

This year examination is over,but try for next year(2011).


Date of Notification/Last date for receipt of applications: 03.01.2011 - 02/02/2011

Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 23rd May , 2011 (One day)

Minimum academic qualifications prescribed: A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limits: 21-30 years as on 01.08.2011

Remarks: Candidates appearing at the degree examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

It is heard that from next year UPAC forms fillup through online.So,there will not be any tension for postal delay.

tHe official calender for 2011 IAS exam has been announced and exam will be held in 12 june 2011.
And the form notification will be released in januaryor most probably in february

However last year exams are over and moreover you have not mentioned
whether preliminary or main??

The notification for preliminary comes around November/December
and the exams are held in may

Hi i want to know what will be the IAS form submission last date for year 2011. I read that this time syllabus has been changed. In prelim Exam GK is not mandatory subject. Instead of GK, aptitude exam will be there. Can i have sample paper for that.

The Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.

The examination has three stages i.e.,

1.) Civil Services Preliminary Examinations (CSP) - normally conducted during the second half of May.
2.) Civil Services (Main) Examinations conducted during the month of October/November. Here, those who are selected in the preliminary examination only are eligible to appear.
3.) Those who are selected in the main examination will be eligible to appear before the Interview Board at New Delhi.

So, if you are interested to apply for civil services examination, then please apply for this exams before 21st/March/2011.

After completing this dates, You can not apply for IAS 2011 Examinations.

CSAT i.e Civil Service Aptitude Test is an Exam conducted by upsc Board every year.

It is having Two Exam one is Preliminary And 2nd One is Mains. If you clear Preliminary then only you are allowed to sit for Mains.

Its an Exam for IPS Officer , IAS officer etc....

if you are submitting through online mode then last date is 21st march till 11:59 pm afterwords link will be disabled.

Submission of IAS application form through offline mode is 21st march till 5pm through courier,speed/registered post.
