The All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] do not approve any Technical Course including Bachelor of Engineering [B.E] through Distance or Correspondence mode apart from Master of Business Administration [MBA] and Master of Computer Application [MCA]. However, some of the Distance course are approved by the Joint Committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC.

Hence, in order to get proper recognition of the Technical Degree one should always look to pursue through Regular mode until and unless one is committed to work or Job and requires degree for promotions and better remunerations.
