There are lot of answers here which are listing the colleges providing distance learning facility in engineering. However, according to my information AICTE currently has not approved any colleges to offer engineering degree in distance learning mode. However according to an announcement by Pallam Raju, the HRD minister, the AICTE may launch the scheme for distance learning in Engineering (BE / BTech) from February 2013. Currently only MCA and MBA are offered and not engineering courses as has been said here in some of the answers. You may verify this from the news item here : Daily Education News

The CMJ university is UGC approved, established by the govt. of Meghalaya. Some of the certificate courses are affiliated to AICTE.
