The courses offered by Karnataka State Open University are not approved by All India Council for Technical Education.
The university is recognized by the Distance Education Council.

Sir, I have passed 3 yrs diploma engineering from Tribhuvan university of nepal,i want get admission in B-Tech(electrical) on distance mode, so i have some doubt this Jaipur engineering college and research centre afflaited to ksou or not kindly send me information at [email protected].

1.Why AICTE has not filed any case against KSOU for conducting DISTANCE MODE M.Tech. Programs?
2.Again and Again it is well proved that Indian Regulatory Mechanisms are NOT clear in Higher Education which
in turn leads to (a) Favoring Institutes/Univesities to earn and (b) Cheat the student community.

Is the ksou university dec approved and can i apply to govt. job after completing my diploma from ksor distance education and can i do this course from abroad actually i have an opportunity to go abroad Saudi Arabia so please give me right sugetion to completing my diploma. and will it be bani-feat for me to do this course from there.and is it also considered in privet sector. please help me to enhance my career.

EIILM university courses (M.A) is approved from DEC?

if ksou is not approved by AICTE then how they still admitting and conducting B.tech courses in tamilnadu also who has to control this illegal activity or who has to take care of this issue?

You are correct.

Other guys he is 100 % correct AICTE till now (till June 2013 end) approves some MBA and MCA i guess programmes only for distance mode.Other than that nothing is approved by AICTE. University and you who is pursuing the course are solely resposible for this if you are doing the same. I have contacted many places regarding thsi , i got to know about this. i think this should help you. Otherwise you can ring the authorities like DEC,AICTE,UGC to know about some university.
