dear friend,
most of the companies that recruit EEEians would recruit even electronics and instrumentation. some of the core companies are as follows:

Vedanta groups
sterlite
L&T
Sitar vessels
TVS Delphi etc

but then these are a few lists of the core companies for E&I in south india. but their availibility would depend on your college- whether these companies visit your college, or is your college requesting them etc. so better go through your college placement list and find out the list of core companies for yourself. target any one. strive for iy and go ahead. you would be placed. all the very best. There is no separate core companies for EIE, the core companies of other branches like EEE will take EIE students for their campus recruitment...

Core companies recruit people on two basis as...

1) Freshers : Wherein very less number of the core companies come in to campus for selecting the students who are pursing their graduate degree.It as three major stage of process to get inside the company as freshers during campus placements they are..

a) Aptitude Test.

b) Technical Interview.

c) Personal Interview.


2) Experience : This is where many people use to get in to the core companies with the help of 2-3 yrs of Experience, there is only 2 stage of process when you get in with experience they are..

a) Technical Interview.

b) Personal Interview.

but , you must remember that when you get into these companies , you will be put into either electronics or instrumentation . getting both is very rare .

also , all petrochemical companies offer instrumentation jobs .
same goes for manufacturing ,etc . but the instrumentation jobs are comparatively less .

Question No 2 : How to apply for 2 months industrial training??

Ans : To apply for industrial training in any of the companies, you have to contact them directly through mail or by address and show them your intrest of doing the industrial training, and they will alot the slots for you accordingly.

there are so many government sector which recruit electronics and instrumentation engineering students. but there competition is very high as most of the student want to join in government sector.

but you may try for it. some of the government sector which recruit ei students are

civil services
indian army etc etc.
