There are many companies in India.To get a list of all the Government sector core companies then please visit the following link
http://www.india.gov.in/citizen/PSU.php The following list will show you all the list of companies which recruit Engineer's and graduates from other sectors.It's not possible to provide the list of companies because it will extend the 250+ mark hence I have provided you the link.To get the details of branch offices then go through each company's website which is available in the link page given. ONGC recruits graduates and post graduates from various streams hence I cannot provide you the eligibility criteria.For example ONGC is presently recruiting Assistant Technician (Civil), Junior Assistant Technician (Welding), Graduate Trainee,Manager(Finance), Manager(Company Secretary), Junior Technical Assistant (Geology),.etc.The eligibility criteria keeps varying with the post hence exact information cannot be provided.
