No, you are not eligible to appear in UGC NET being a M.Ed 1st year candidate.
Eligibility Criteria to appear in UGC NET exam:- Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognised University are eligible for UGC NET exam. General ad OBC candidate 55% and above marks in master degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in master degree. There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should below 28 years. |

No, 1st year M.Ed students are not eligible for UGC NET.
The candidate should have passed masters degree from recognized University are eligible for UGC NET exam. There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years. |

For being eligible for UGC NET exam, candidate needs to have Masters degree in any domain .
If you have persued any other masters degree except M.Ed then you can apply for UGC NET with that masters degree, otherwise wait for final result and then apply for exam. Those who have completed masters degree with atleast 55% marks from a recognised board are eligible. Age limit for JRF is 31 years and no upper age limit for Assistant professor. |

The candidate should have pursued any other masters degree except M. Ed , then you are eligible to apply. Otherwise, you have to wait for your final year M. Ed to apply for UGC NET as per the guidelines and also must secure min 50% as your academic score in masters. |

If you have any postgraduate degree other than M.Ed, you are eligible to apply. Otherwise, you have to wait for your final year (M.Ed). Apply for UGC NET as per guidelines and secure minimum 50% marks as your academic score in Masters.

You may submit an application if you have earned any master's degree other than an M. Ed. Otherwise, you must wait until your last year of M. Ed. to apply for UGC NET, and you must also receive a minimum GPA of 50% in your master's degree.
