Mainframe technology is very much in demand in IT companies like IBM, Nihilent etc.
Please search the courses & coaching institues on Google as per the city, location you are interested.

there are very few institutes in which offer the course.

I think CDAC offers that course.

there are a lot of scope for you in any IT company......

jobs are there in many co. like hsbc, wipro, IBm,accenture and many more
or u can go for job oriented program in many institues

but mind it only around 15-20 students are selected from india every year for tech-lab.

IBM is the leading one and i think CDAC also conducts such courses and jobs

in india there are very few institute who offers this course, you can do from delhi university or you can do this course from CDAC also.............

hey guys need your help, i have just completed my b.tech in IT with 1st division.now looking for a job.have good communication skills but not good in programming skills..even not interested to work as a software developer.

have heard about mainframe course.one of my cousin suggested me to go for it.he got placed in an MNC at Noida after completed this course from High technologies solution and he is getting 20,000 as a fresher in his training period.

but i also have heard that this mainframe technology will going to replaced by any other new technology soon.

so, its quite difficult for me to decide whether i will for this course or not..plz suggest..

IMFT is the not the right place of taking mainframe courses. Do not have any proper faculty and there is no Training at all he just collect the resumes from other institute and doing the business. If students visit the place they come to know. The Guy Who is leading the institute, his name is Kishore( his actual name is Hari). He don't want to tell his name as a Hari. If he say his name is Hari everyone knows. because he cheated many students and money from many students. He used to collect the money and tell the students say that he will get a job. Finally he will not pay the money as well as he will get a Job. Be careful!

Tech Lead
Team Lead
Software Designers

For getting these above jobs you need to expert into these courses like JAVA,.NET,C#,etc....
Technical Skills Required: Mainframes, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, File-Aid, Endeavor, linux system admin,lotus etc....

These courses will gives you the mainframe jobs as i have mentioned earlier.
You can do these courses from IBM ACE, SYNCO, HCL Training center.
The fees structure varing between Rs.30,000-50,000.
After completion of the course they will placed you in good companies.

I am passedout B.E.at 2011 with 63% and my 10th and 12th percent is also not so good and i also have some carrier gap because of some monitary problem,so plz sujest me can this course is suitable for me for a good job.
