Hello Sir/Madam,
I am a B.tech pass out student.Presently i am working as Junior software Engineer in an IT company.I want to attempt gate entrance .
So,Please suggest me the materials to prepare for gate entrance at home and get good score.

which are the materials needed for preparing gate exam for ECE engineering student?

For gate entance exam following books you have to read:

1>the books you learn through your graduation just go through it once gaain.
2>just go trough previous year question paper that's help you lot..because from there you come to know the exam pattern.
3>if you tell me your engineering branch then i also tell you which book you have to recommend.

For GATE Examination , you have you to look into all your core subjects of Computer Science and even prepare for Mathematics part.So,overall you got to revise the things which you have studied for the entire 4 years in your Engineering.Since you have an aggregate of around 78% hence i hope you must have a grip over your core subjects.

It will be better that you go through coaching classes since you do not have that much time.But do not depend entirely only the coaching classes and you definitely need to keep all your efforts for going through the exam with good marks.Having an aggregate of 78% am sure you can go through the preparation part.Coaching classes only help you up to an extent.They can only provide you short cut and tricks to solve the Mathematics part easily.Since CS is all about logic hence you need to apply your brain for it.

You need to face the GATE examination in planned manner.Just prepare a time table so that which subjects can be studied on a particular day.There's nothing to get confused about.Keep yourself calm and cool and start your preparation in a planned manner you will definitely taste success.

You can prepare for the Exam by following ways:

1. Read the syllabus of the GATE Exam and focus on one topic. Set a time limit and complete that topic within that time. Then solve all the past questions that have come from that topic in the GATE Exam. Gradually complete all the topics.

2. Enroll for the Test Series to measure how much more you need to study or work hard.

3. Solve previous year question paper of your branch within the stipulated time.

4. Download and solve sample papers of GATE Exam.

5. If you are unsure of a particular topic, study it once again to be confident of that topic.

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering .It is a multiple choice exam which will be conducted online from 2014.
