Is Mathematics compulsory for admission in B.Sc Chemistry, DU?


What is the eligibility for B.Sc Chemistry which is offered by Delhi University? Is Mathematics mandatory for doing B.Sc Chemistry honors in Delhi University? Which are the best colleges affiliated to Delhi University for Chemistry?

Yes, definitely maths is compulsory to get in chemistry Honours course from DU.

Yes, mathematics is compulsory if you want to pursue BSc in chemistry from Delhi University.

The common eligibility to pursue B.Sc Chemistry is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised university with PCM as main paper.

So, it is compulsory to have Mathematics as main paper in 12th to become eligible for admission in colleges affiliated to DU.

Yes, mathematics is compulsory for admission in Delhi University in Bachelor of Science in Chemistry course. The academic qualification required for admission in B.Sc Chemistry is 12th passed from a recognized board with PCM subjects.

Higher is the percentage of marks in 12th board examination, better is the chance of getting admission in top colleges of Delhi University.

It is mandatory to have Mathematics as main paper in graduation to become eligible to pursue B.Sc in Chemistry.

The eligibility to pursue the course is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board.

Rajdhani College.

Yes in order to pursue BSc Chemistry Honours from Delhi University, the candidate must have completed 10 + 2 with mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.

Yes, definitely Mathematics along with Physics and Chemistry are compulsory in Class 12th to be eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry degree course in any college of DU (University of Delhi). Also, your overall aggregate in PCM group must be at least 60% and you must have secured at least 50% marks in English paper as well.
