Re: MCA from Utkal university can appear in NET exam or not?
NET refers to National Eligibility Test and it is held by NTA twice every year on the behalf of UGC.
The basic education required for appearing in the NET is a Master's degree in the subject which has been opted as an optional paper (Paper II) for UGC NET with at least 55% marks in aggregate (or 50% marks in aggregate in case of reserved category candidates) from a recognised university. So, having completed your MCA degree course from Utkal University, you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET examination with Computer Application as your Paper II (Optional Subject) provided you have managed minimum qualifying marks in the qualifying degree as per your category. For complete details and updates regarding UGC NET, you can refer to the link www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in. |
