Dear,

Normally according to CBSE board minimum age to appear for 10th boards is 14 years.

In andhra pradesh board it is the same but under certain condition it may be 12 years but for that you need to have a valid reason and proof that students have attended and passed every exam since 9th before it.

If you are 14 or above you are allowed to give this exam. If you fail in 10th and repeating it agian and again is another case where every school have their own criteria.

10th boards are very important in life of every student. It will decide your eligibility for certain competitive exam and also the subjects that you want to take in 11th will depend on your marks in 10th. Thus take it very seriously and pass it with good marks.
