Minimum education required to be eligible for RTO Officer post?
What should I studied to become an RTO Officer after completing BE in Mechanical Engineering? Or, can I apply on the basis of BE only? When and how to apply for RTO Officer entrance examination? What is the pay scale of RTO Officer?

RTO officer recruitment is done by public service commission (PSC) based on written test followed by interview. On the basis of B.E.(Mechanical), you can apply for the post of Assistant Regional Transport Officer and Transport Sub-inspector. You can apply online on official website when respective PSC releases notification for the recruitment of RTO officer.
RTO Officer Eligibility - You must have passed bachelor's degree in mechanical/automobile engineering from a recognized university. - Age Limit : 21 to 30 years. Relaxation applicable as per government norms. Pay Scale - For Assistant Transport Officer : Rs. 9300 - 34,800/- - For Transport Sub-inspector : Rs. 5200 - 20,200/- |
