Re: Minimum percentage required for B.A LLB?
BA LLB is the five years long integrated law course introduced by the Bar Council of India following several candidates complaining about doing double graduation to become a lawyer.
Earlier the candidate was first required to do graduation of minimum three years, followed by LLB of 3 years. This was the reason that BA LLB was introduced which combines the subjects of bachelor course and LLB. You can directly apply for the BA LLB after completing 12th standard. Most colleges in India has opted for the integrated LLB course. However there are still several colleges that offer LLB, 3 years course in India. To apply for the BA LLB, the candidate is required to appear for entrance exam called Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Here is the eligibility criteria to appear for this entrance exam. Eligibility 1. The candidate should pass 12th standard from recognized board. 2. Minimum of 45 percent marks in the 12th class. 3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks. 4. 20 years is the maximum age to apply for BA LLB. 5. Maximum of 2 years relaxation for SC and ST. 6. There is no relaxation for OBC. 7. You should be able to produce all the documents related to 12th standard at the time of applying. |
