Those candidate have completed graduation degree are applicable Teacher Eligibility Test.TET will be a compulsory and essential requirement for securing a teaching job in all types of schools.You must have a valid degree for B.Ed course.

There is no age criteria.So you can apply here in your any stage.But Some State set their age criteria.

Subject for TET Exam:-

1. Child Development and Pedagogy
2. Mathematics
3. Environmental Study
4. Language I (medium of instruction)
5. Language II (chosen from a list other than language I)

Teacher Eligibility Test also known as TET is a test required for teaching job in Central govt as well state govt schools. TET exam is conducted by both central govenment as well the state government for recruitment of the teachers. The TET exam is conducted by the National Council for Teacher Education.

The idea behind the TET exam was to improve the standards of teaching in India. Central government started the test in 2011 and made it mandatory for all teaching aspirants to appear in the exam before they can apply for teaching job. The test is not only for aspiring teachers but also for teachers who are already working. Teachers are required to pass the TET exam once in two years as made mandatory by the government of India.

The TET exam by the Central government is called Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Candidates who clear the test are welcomed to apply for teaching jobs in KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools etc. You can also apply to private schools that are affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The state TET has different name for different states in India. Candidates who pass the test may apply for schools managed by state governments and local bodies. Private schools that are affiliated with State Education Board may also hire you.

All candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) are required to appear in this test before they can become teacher. These days even private schools are not considering candidates who don't have passed the TET exam.
