hello sir,
am a BSc miucrobiology student,pls let me knw which will be better doing MSc in biotechnology or microbiology?(that too in microbiology which field-either medical or food or marine microbiology?)am interested in this 3 fields of microbiogy so pls let me knw which one is good and have better job oppourtunities?also list the various colleges in kerala offering these courses.
sir also i would like to knw abt the scope of doing PG diploma in nutrition and dietetics and the colleges offering this course in kerala.
hope u will respond as early as possible.

in India bio technology is better for sure

Both biotechnology and microbiology are emerging fields in India.

and any emerging field requires good infrastructure and good professional for maintaning its foothold,and also requires some time.

I will advice you to opt for the course in which you are much interested.
following places are good for it:
cochin university of science & technology.
karela university
shcool of life science,kannur university.

Both are rising fields and have a great scope.

M.Sc Biotecnology is must better than that of M.Sc Microbiology,Biotecnology have a bright future in india and foreign countries.

microbiology is not an as emerging field as biotechnology in India.
it is better to opt biotechnology if you want to stay in india.

You are B.Sc.from microbiology. So, you have the best option to go in M.Sc. in micro biology because It will come on the same track that you are following well in M.Sc. microbiology you have to go in medical or food specialization that is best than marine especially food.It has more in demand.

as you have done bsc from microbiology ....it will be better for you if you go for msc in microbiology only .....as if you change the field ..although there is not a lot of difference between them....then too you may face some problems regarding sone new terms an subjects...........

both fields are good in their respect,both are emerging fileds.well but i will suggest you to go for msc in biotechnology,it would be a good option for your carrier.

I am doing BScmicrobiology..
and I think MSC micro is good option for those who want to do job after MSc Micro because as I know there are very less chances to get job after MSc Biotec and mostly they will be of teaching and so that students who want to go in research work this will be very shocking for them .so they can go into research work after MSc Micro and for sure they will get satisfactory jobs in India's well known Industries.

both the courses are better, But I think the job depends
on whether this M.Sc degree is a professional degree or independent
research, but M.Sc are always better than bachelor's for most science
jobs even ones that are not exactly related the the degree.....

as there have lots of job opportunities in biotechnology field.

According to me, M.sc Forensic Science is the best course in now a days and there are very wide career in this field.

This course gives you the opportunities to work with Government law enforcing and crime investigation agencies as well as private investigative agencies.

So, after 12th, you can do bacholar in Forensic Science and after B.sc you can go for post graduation in forensic science.

So, please go for M.sc Forensic science, this filed is better and gives you better opportunity as well as good salary pacakge.

i think u have 2 go for m.sc. microbiology because microbiology is unique and scope is more than biotechnology .

hey pooja none of the trades or courses are bad..itz all about the interest.being an BSCin microbilogy you must continue further with it and rest iz about your own intrest.

Is it required to clear entrance examination to get admission in microbiology / biotechnology courses ?

could i know entrance exams conducted in bangalore for m.sc in microbiology?
