No it is not required to study history in 10+2 for studying archaeology in graduation.
Any one who have completed intermediate with any stream can apply for archaeology course in graduation.

Just the basic qualification required to apply for bachelor of archaeology course is to study intermediate in any stream, although archaeology is close to history but no such requirement of have studied history in intermediate is required. Archaeology is completely different subject compare to history, it might look similar but has lot of dis similarities and like public misconception is not close to history in any way.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
