Names of the core companies in Civil Engineering for B.Tech students?
Can sombody help to know the names of Core companies in civil engg for campus/ off campus placements of Btech????

Some of the public sector companies like SAIL, NTPC, IOC, ONGC, BARC, etc recruit civil engineers. These companies conduct written test or consider GATE score for short listing the candidates. Essar Construction Limited, Central Road Research institute are yet other companies recruiting civil engineers. Hindustan Construction company, National Hydroelectric power corporation, Central Water and Power Research Stations are other top companies recruiting civil engineers. Some other companies are GMR, SEPCO, Simplex, etc. You can also find job opportunities in PWD under central and state government.
