NDA Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. UPSC conducts the NDA Exam. This year's notification for the exam is already out and the last day for applying was 21st January 2013.

Eligibility Criteria:-

1. To apply for the army wings of NDA you need to pass class 12 from a recognized school or institution.

2. To apply for the army or naval wing of NDA you need to pass class 12 with physics and mathematics. This is mandatory.

3. If you are in class 12 right now about to appear for the board exam then also you can sit for this exam. The proof of your result needs to be shown to the authorities concerned later.

4. This exam can be given only by the male unmarried citizen of India.

5. To sit for this exam your age need to be between 16.5 and 19 years.

6. You need to satisfy the physical standard set by UPSC as well.

If you get chosen then you will get admission in one of the defense institutions. NDA-I exam will happen on 14th April 2013. The result will come out in July 2013 and the SSB Interview is likely to happen in September-October 2013.

Exam Pattern:-

The entrance exam has two stages to go through:- Written Examination and Personal Interview session. The written exam will mainly have objective questions. You can answer either in English or Hindi. On doing well in the written exam your name will be shortlisted for the interview session. These are the following rounds one has to go through: Verbal Test, Non Verbal Test, Psychological Exam and Group Discussion.

NDA Past Question Papers

NDA Exam is conducted in April and August for recruitment of people to the following wings :-

> Indian Army Wing
> Indian Air Force Wing
> Indian Navy Wing

The people who are willing to appear for the NDA should first of all check if they satisfy the following minimum eligibility criterion or not :-

> the student must have done 12th or equivalent from a recognized board..

> Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects for applicants willing to join Air Force or Navy..

> the applicant must be an unmarried male

> The age of the candidate should be within 16.5-19 years..

Those candidates who wan to lighten up their future in indian defense and want to join the different wings of Indian Defense , the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is a blessing for them.

The UPSC is the one organization which conducts two examinations every year through which you can join Indian Defense.

The Two Examinations are :

a) NDA & NA Examination

b) Combined Defense Services Examination

NDA Stands for National Defense Academy.

The NDA Examination is conducted twice in a year in April and August as NDA-I & NDA-II respectively.

The Eligibility Criteria For NDA Examination are :

* You must have completed 12th with PCM from any recognized baord.

* There is no minimum percentage required bar in this exam.

* Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years.

* No Relaxation in age is given to candidates of any category.

* You must be an Indian.

* You must be a male candidates.

* Female candidates are not allowed to apply for this exam.

* You must be unmarried.

* You must have a good mental and physical health.
