if you want to take admission in the good collge then you have to give,other wise there is many collge which offer the admission in the MCA directly on the basis of the marks obtained in the bca course,so now it is on you do decides.

Yes, Even BCA students have to appear the entrance for MCA admission in the JECA colleges. But there are some private colleges whicch have managment quota. So, you can approach to those private colleges.

ye it is necessary dear after that only you can only take admission in mca.

it is not necessary to appear in JECA exam for doing MCA.

but if you want to do MCA from good university,then you have to appear in JECA exam.

like, if you want to do MCA from jadavpur university,then you must have to appear JECA exam.

though as you have BCA degree, so you may directly take admission in some universities.

Yes You have to write JECA for seeking admission in MCA in any University/Institute at West Bengal.

It is clearly mentioned as Eligibililty Criterion in its Advt.for 2009 and 2010 exam also, issued by its website.

That apart, you should have obtained 60% marks if you have done BCA from
Jadavpur University, University of Burdwan, University of Kalyani.

hii friend yeah you need to give this exam with whatever degree you have and there is no restriction of eligible for only bca its all need is maths with statistics
eligibility to apply for JECA a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with Maths/Statistics as a subject. Those in the final year of their graduation can also apply. There is no age limit for applying in this course.

For getting admission in reputed MCA colleges you need to crack various entrance tests conducted by those institutes.

In different states there are different entrance exams like: AIMCET,PGCET,NIMCET etc.

JECA is the entrance exam for admission to renowned Govt and private MCA colleges particularly in Kolkata.

So even after doing BCA,you have to appear for those exams to admit into good MCA colleges of kolkata, i.e. if you need a good college to study MCA you have to crack JECA.

there is not necessary to give JECA for MCA even after BCA..but if you want JECE college than it is necessary....

you can take admission in any of the MCA college by the MCA Entrance test which conducted by the colleges or institutes or universities..

you must apply for top most pvt university for mca.

hi i went to jeca for further information about mca he told me that i cannot take admission outside westbengal as this entrance examination is only for states not outside state
