Is it necessary to pursue BEd for becoming a Professional Teacher?
Hi friends, I want to become a Teacher and I have completed BA Honours in Social Work. So, for become a Professional Teacher, I have to do BEd course? Generally, graduates in Science, Arts and Commerce can be a Teacher then also BEd is necessary?

BEd is popular professional course for those who want to pursue a career in teaching. For government teaching jobs you can appear for TET (Teacher Eligibility Test), CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test), UGC NET etc. Candidates who wish to get into research can also pursue MEd, MPhil and Phd
