Does NIOS candidates are allowed to appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced entrance examination? If yes, then when and how to apply for it? And, what is the basic difference between the JEE Advanced and JEE Main?

Yes, NIOS students are also eligible to apply for jee mains and advanced exam.

To apply for the same you have to visit the official website but can only apply when the registrations are open which are usually in the month of September.

The difference between JEE mains and Advanced is that by passing JEE mains you can take admission in NITs and GFTIs and are also eligible to give JEE advanced while by passing JEE advanced you can get admission in the prestigious IITs.
