How can a 9th standard candidate join Indian Navy?

My date of birth is 01-01-2007 and I am studying in class 9th and I have got 74% in class 8th and I am extremely interested to join Indian Navy. So, what should I do to join Indian Navy? Is there any entrance for which I can prepare from now only?

First of all I will suggest you to complete your 10th and 12th with good marks.

After completing your 12th you can apply for NDA examination to become a officer in Indian navy.

For now you have no need to prepare for any entrance exam.
If you want to apply for NDA after class then you have thoroughly study your class 12th syllabus especially for maths.

Best of luck!!!

In std 9th, you are not eligible to join Indian Navy.

You can become eligible to join Indian Navy after qualifying in NDA. It is conducted twice in a year.

The eligibility to appear for NDA is that :-

Candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

Only male candidates are eligible.

Candidate must have passed 12th in PCM.

So, you will have to continue your studies to become eligible for selection in Indian Navy.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
