NIOS is National Institute of Open Schooling and it is a recognised board affiliated to MHRD.

So, candidates are eligible to pursue higher studies and also for the government jobs on the basis of NIOS certificate. To get the final selection, you will have to qualify in all the stages of the examination.

Your certificate is valid and you are eligible to get the recruitment in job after appearing and qualifying in various stages of the examination.

So, you can prepare for the examination as NIOS is a recognised board and is affiliated to Ministry of Education ( former MHRD ).
