I am ashish
I want to kown that the NITs are taking the student for engineering from their respective state i.e 50% seats however 50 % seats are offered to outside the state student. The student belongs to the states where NIT are not located like UTTATAKHAND, DELHI etc in which NIT they have got their reserve quota like other states where the NITs are located. in addition of that how they have distributed the seat.

Yes, all the NITs have some seats reserved for their state students & rest for the students outside of their state.

You can find the detailed information of seats allocation on their respective websites.

you are absolutely right......all you need is first to clear aieee with good rank and look for the info regularly on cbse website.

first clear AIEEEexam with good rank ,so that you have options in your hand,and their is a reserve quota for state student ,for more details kindly visit its official website.

the whole information about the conduct of the counseling will be notified on the official website of aieee.....as soon as the results of aieee are disclosed.....prepare for the exam well

every nit have reserve sit for their own state students.....

A total of 180 students will be admitted in the first batch, out which 50 pc seats are reserved for Uttarakhand students.

As per the new admission criteria to NITs this year while 50% of seats will be reserved to the students from the state where the NIT is the remaining 50% will be open. In previous years the remaining 50% was broken apart and divided to various states..........

first you concentrate on good rank withjin 10000...
then think about NIT...
all state have some quota ..so do not worry ..

if we go by the rank list of past few years then you might be getting a rank between 30000-50000....with 160 score......

you have a good chance for getting good college through aieee....

Yes there are some seats reserved for the state students in respective NITs. Ok Lets take Goa for example. There is no NIT here. So there are some 50 seats reserved in NIT Surathkal,NIT Warangal and BIT Mesra for goan students. No one knows the distribution of seats.

to get into any nit all you need is to get good marks in aieee exam.
a student who gets good marks can get nit of any state. there is rserve quota only for sc/st or obc /ph students not for their own state students.

my state rank in category is 141(st) can i get admission in nit uttrakhand in computer science in b. tech. 1st year

i havegot around 2 lakh rank in AIEEE .could i got admission in my native place uttrakhand in NIT

i got 33019 rank in aieee .will i get any nit.i'm open categorie candidate from delhi

go to www.ccb.nic.in and register there with ur AIEEE roll number and form number and the other information, then u will get to know the college list u wud be choosing from with respect to ur rank.Let me know what choices did u get?

As per the new criteria, 50% of the NIT seats will be reserved to the students from the state.The remaining will be open & divided to various states.The scheme will benefit students from the state who do well in AIEEE while the negetive effect on other states.

how many no of nit seats r der in each state...........

at 28k rank u can get nit but u will get branches like metallurgy ,textile etc.. u can get BIT PATNA or even mesra with polymer engineering
