Can i do the Nursing course after my graduation in B.A. Arts? Is that possible if yes, then please tell me how is it possible to do so?

Yes, definitely you can pursue a nursing course after completion of your graduation you can pursue General Nursing and Midwifery or BSc nursing after graduation but for that you have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by the University where you want to take admission. Admission to the general nursing and midwifery is given on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th not on the basis of entrance exam. But let me tell you that if you have completed your 12th from Arts stream then you are not eligible for BSc Nursing.

As you I graduate candidate in Arts hence you can go for General Nursing and Midwifery course which is of 3 and half duration. Age limit should be in between 17 to 35 years. Only female candidates are eligible to get admission in this course. Admission is given on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th in any discipline from recognised board.

If you have completed your higher secondary with science subjects physics , chemistry and biology , then you are eligible to apply for nursing course otherwise not eligible for nursing course.

B.Sc (Nursing) Eligibility
- You must have passed (10+2) in science stream with PCB as a main subjects from a recognized board.
- Your age should be between 17 to 25 years on 31st December of the examination year.
- You should have appeared entrance exam for admission.

Exam Pattern
- Total Questions : 100
Physics : 25 questions
Chemistry : 25 questions
Biology : 25 questions
- Total Marks : 400
- Each right answer will carry 4 marks & 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
