GCE June 2012 exam results
In the Notes section of the printed copy of the GCE June 2012 timetable, the day quoted for the examination on 22 June 2012 should be Friday, not Wednesday. We apologise for any confusion this might have caused. The date for the restricted release of results to centres is Wednesday, August 15. The date for the release of results to candidates is Thursday, August 16. Result publication dates for May/June 2011 exam sessions are as follows: Results for CIE will be published on 11 August. School candidates will need to collect their results from their respective schools and private candidates will need to collect their results from British Council by showing their statement of entry or passport. Candidates who have taken exams under Edexcel International can expect their A Level results on 18 August and IGCSE results on 25 August. If you have taken exams under Edexcel International, you can view your results by going to our results website by clicking here. Alternatively, you can also access your results through your mobile phone using the following easy steps: Type GCE <space>RES <space> type your UCI number and send the SMS to 7464. O Level Subject marks and Grade bounday marks will also made available at the above website. How are the papers graded? All completed exam papers are returned to Edexcel International for marking. Results are issued in the form of seven official grades. There are five grades of pass, Grades A, B, C, D and E, of which Grade A is the highest and Grade E the lowest. These grades are recorded on the certificate. This grade will be recorded on the certificate. An unclassified result will be indicated by Grade U and will not be recorded on the certificate. |
