According to market value, which one is more better either M.Sc. IT or MCA ?

Both The Field Are Better for You.

But According to Me, MCA is better if you plan to be a Programmer. MCA focus on application programming while MSC focuses on Some System Programming.

So, If you're planning pure software, MCA may be the better choice. If you're thinking about some systesm programming, MSc IT may be the better choice.

You need to look at the course they offer and see which one you're more interested in.

It does not matter, whether one has done M.Sc IT or MCA. If you want to get a decent job, then focus on a particular skill set. Like if you want to become DBA, then study the database management concepts and go for Oracle DBA certification. Also, rather than wasting 1 entire year in pursuing MCA, you can prefer to do M.Sc IT and focus a complete year on your area of interest.

You should log on to a job portal and search for the keywords like Linux Admin, Java, Oracle etc. There you will see, that companies hire people from various backgrounds like BA, B com, B tech, B Sc etc. Degree won't get you a good job, but knowledge will.

Just focus on a particular skill set rather than a degree. Also, explore different fields within IT and then you will get answers to your questions.

Hello,
I'm doing B.Sc Computer Science in a college in Madurai right now.
I plan to do M.S in America after I do my PG since M.S requires atleast 4 years of college education.
But I'm confused whether I should do MCA or M.Sc after B.Sc. Many people tell me to do MCA while I feel since I'm going to do M.S anyway I can do M.Sc.
I need help on deciding what course to opt for. Any comment would be helpful.

Better do MCA. MSc is comparably down in current situation.
