There are four divisions of passing which are Distinction , First Division , Second Division and Third Division. Candidates who have not got the minimum marks to secure even the third division , are considered as failed candidates as per J & K State Board of Education.

>>Distinction:- Those obtaining 75% or more of the aggregate total of marks but not less than 75% marks.

>>First Division:- Those who obtain 60% or more of aggregate number of marks but less than 75% marks.

>>Second Division:- Those who obtain 45% or more of aggregate number of marks but less than 60% marks.

>>Third Division: Those who obtain 33% or more of aggregate number of marks but less than 45% marks.
