Good morning sir,can you please tell me that-are NCERT books are too much for aiims,aipmt,afmc etc.

iam a medical student of delhi university and i was not allowed to sit for the 1st professional exams of physiology and biochemistry due to short attendance and hence passed them in supplementary. does this count as an attempt and make me ineligible to sit for pg entrance of aiims and pgi? also, what are the other eligibility criteria for these exams?
