in most of the placement exams, it is required that the student must be having atleast 60% marks in his 10th as well as 12th class so that he will become eligible for the exam. but this percentage changes from company to company.

Re: Percentage of marks required in 12th and 10th standard for clearing placement exams?
if you have more than 70% throughout your career means it is good.
coming to the percentage required in 10 and 12 depends on the company. the required percentage is different from company to company. some will ask for 60 and others will as 65 or 70. so it depends on the company profile. companies like microsoft, ibm, accenture, oracle will ask for 70%. tcs, cts, infosys, csc etc will ask 65 and wipro, birlasoft, infotech etc will ask 60. |

Re: Percentage of marks required in 12th and 10th standard for clearing placement exams?
It all depends on the requirements of the company...Most companies demand for 60% aggr in 10th and 12th standard....while some companies even have lower criteria at 55%...it can even be higher for companies offering healthy package....but finally all comes down to the aptitude test and how well you get through your technical and HR rounds if the recritment criteria have all these stages...All the best..

Re: Percentage of marks required in 12th and 10th standard for clearing placement exams?
Dear friend i want to tell you that along with the percentage of 10th and 12th clearing placements also depend on your Aptitude level and your English. The minimum requirement of percentage in 10th and 12th is about 50-60% for most of the companies. Above 60 is always good enough for sitting in the placements.
