Physical Standard Required for NDA Examination.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the NDA examination twice in a year for the admission in the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA. If you want to know about the physical standard for the NDA examination then here i give you the details information.

What is require age for NDA?

for NDA exam your minimum age must be 16 and half year. weight must be according to the height. eye vision must be 6/6 and there is no colour blindedness. candidate must be fit properly. there is no flat foot. these are some physical abilities for NDA exam.

After completing my diploma degree can i able to be an officer in nda

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY is an entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

The eligible candidate after successfully clear the written exam have to undergone for certain Physical test. One must be physically fit to join NDA.

The average height should be around 160cm depending upon the body weight and region to which the candidate belong. The weight should be around 50kg with chest around 77cm. This varies with age which is from 16.5 to 19 years of age.

Apart from that you have to undergone with some physical test like running, balance etc.

you are eligible to apply for NDA examination if you should passed 10+2 from a recognized school.
while pursuing 10+2 you are eligible to apply for national defence academy examination.
to apply for this examination your age should be 16.5 to 19 years.
for naval wing and air force wing examination you should passed 10+2 with physics and maths.
for army wing examination you should passed 10+2 in any discipline.

Following are the physical requirements for NDA exam-
Height-
Minimum height for male is 165 cm and for ST160cm.
Minimum height for female is 150cm and for ST145cm.
Chest-
For male 84cm, expansion 5cm.
For female 79cm, expansion 5cm.
Eye sight-
6/6 or 6/9 distant vision.J1 for near vision.
Age limit-
16.1/2-19years.
Candiadte should not have any disease.

Is the arc of the feet very necessary in qualifying for NDA? Can I opt if my leg is flat, i.e., no curvature in arc of feet?

The acronym for NDA is National Defence Academy
NDA has three wings

Indian army

Navy

Indian air force

The eligibility criteria required for this examination are prescribed as below:

1.Completion of 12th with pass marks

2. Age limit: 16.5-19 years

3.Sex: Male

4. Marital status: Single

5.Nationality: Indian

6.Physically and mentally fit
The total exam is of 900 marks in two papers,Math for 300 marks in 2.5 hrs & general ability test which is further divided in two parts,part A English of 200 marks & part B general knowledge of 400 marks.

Out of 900 marks,50% marks may be considered as the qualifying marks which vary every time.

The cut off must be from both papers individually.

Apart from the above,one must be physically fit & should not have colur blindness.

Only unmarried male candidates are
eligible.

Girls are not eligible for this exam.

This exam conduct by UPSC.
