Possibility to apply for date of birth correction in SSC certificates after 7 years?

I have passed out my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam in the year 2002. My date of birth in SSC certificates is incorrect. I did not applied for correction that time. So, is it possible to apply for correction now after 7 years?If yes, then how?
