Possibility to secure BTech Marine Engineering 2nd year admission in a Government college for BTech Mechanical 1st year student?
Sir, I am currently studying in 1st year of BTech with Mechanical Engineering in a Government college. But I want to study Marine Engineering. So, is it possible for me to secure admission for Marine Engineering from 2nd year in any Government college?

Branch change is only possible in 2nd year through merit based on marks secured in first year. This can be possible in same college only.
If your college offers Marine Engineering and seats are vacant in that course, You can change branch in the same college. This is possible because First year course work is same for all Branches. Change of Branch in a different college is not possible. |
