sir i have competed my b.pharm so,is it possible to apply for drug inspector post or exam..when wiil be the exam???

one can apply for drug inspector exam if he possessing the degree in B PHARMACY. UPSC conducts CMS examination year.You can't apply for 2011 exam because its forms are already filled up and exam is in january 2011. The commission has not announce any date for 2012 examination but its advertisement is likely to be announce in the month of oct.- nov 2011. You can also apply through your state PSC dmp this exam. *Graduation from recognized institute or university.
*Age limit-21-30yr (for general)

Yes, it is possible to apply for drug inspector exam after B.Pharm.

B.Pharm is a graduation level course and for Drug Inspector Exam minimum educational eligibility is graduation.

For drug inspector atleast three year experience is required . I want to ask u that i complete my D.Pharma in year 2008 and then take experience in manufacturing in schedule C drug for 3 year then i go for B.Pharma degree , is this 3 year experience is considered or not ?

Yes you can apply for this .but not this time because the date of submission of forms is expired.

when will 2012 drug inspector notification announce

Completing your B.Pharmacy will take you one step near your goal of Drug Inspector.

Along with B.Pharm/ M.Pharm, candidates appearing for Drug Inspector Jobs need to have atleast 18 months of experience in Production or Analysis of Schedule C drugs or should have Audit experience of auditing companies manufacturing such medicines.

Requirements maybe slightly from state to state.

You can complete your M.Pharma and Ph.D as well. Then get a experience of Auditor, Analyst or Production Chemist and Apply for DI.

NOTE : DI Jobs is not restricted to Pharmaceutical students only. Candidates graduating in Analytical, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology can also apply.

Minimum bachlor’s degree in pharmacy medicine or microbiology.
Minimum 18 months experience in manufacturing or analysis of schedule C drugs (antibiotics or parenteral products).
This is the common criteria for drug inspector post few minor variations are there statewise

Do a Post Graduate Course in Food Safety and Regulation, or join as a Lab Technician in a FDA Lab and move up in the hierarchy.

In order to become a drug inspector in India, one needs:-

A bachelor degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences with at least 45% marks.
Three years of experience in testing and analysis.
Candidates having specialization in pharmacology or microbiology are given preference.
