can i change my stream after 1st semister by any means? ..please tell me the possibilities

yes my dear friend,you can change your stream on the basis of vacant seats in your college and on the basis of marks scored in the 1st semester.

It should be kept in mind that the change of stream is only possible in the same college you cannot change the college along with the stream.

Dear Friend

First of all i would like to say that your query is incomplete because neither you have mentioned the name of your college nor you have mentioned your university.

However I would like to tell you that yes there is a chance of branch change in almost every university and it may be in your also I hope.But it will take place only after completion of both semester of 1st year.

You may contact your Head of department for further more information.One more thing I would like to tell you that branch change also depends upon the seat available in other streams and your results in 1st year.It is about 70-80% .So make sure that you are eligible for it.

Actually what happens it that usually in each colleges the subjects of the 1sem and 2semester are generally from applied sciences like physics,chemistry ,mathematics etc.

So do not worry ,you will be able to change your stream after 1st year but make sure that whatever the other stream which you choose you have interest in it then only you will be able to have fun in it and it will lead to the success.

Its not possible to change the stream after completing 1st semester. If you want to change your stream then you need the following :

a) You must have completed both semesters of 1st year with a minimum of 50% marks .

b) You should not have any backlogs in the first year.

c) Seats should be available in the stream in which you want to get admitted.

d) You have to take the Head of the Department of your college / university in faith through your performance so that it will ease up the process.

So , i just suggest you to complete one more semester of education of the same stream then after contact the University Head for Stream Change request.
