I completed 10th standard with high mark and I joined 1 i.e, class 11th. Now, I'm not comfortable with 1. So, I need to join Diploma course without wasting a year in completing 12th. Is there is any possibility?

Diploma is one of the best option after 10th. There are various options available in diploma like:-
Engineering diploma courses
Marine field related diploma courses Diploma in fire and safety technology Diploma in hotel management.

You are eligible to get admission in the diploma course on the basis of the std 10th qualification.

There will be no admission in 2nd year of the diploma course and it will be three year course after std 10th.

Admission in various institutions is conducted on the basis of entrance examination.

The first thing I would like to let you know that in general the minimum education required to pursue a full time 3 years Diploma course is a Class 10th i.e; Matriculation from a recognised board. In case of candidates opting for Diploma course through lateral entry after completion of their Class 12th, the duration of diploma course reduces to two years.

So, being a student of Class 11th, you can join diploma 3 year course on the basis of your Class 10th education by dropping out your higher secondary school degree course.

1. The entrance exams for admission in government diploma colleges is over now. You will have to wait for next year. Even private diploma colleges will not accept admission as they are about to conduct first semester exams.

2. Instead of wasting one year, you should focus and concentrate on studies. First, you can read subjects in which you have interest. Once you develop your interest in different subjects of 11th standard, you can excel in board exams.

Diploma is three year course from a recognised institution after std 10th.

So, candidate passed std 10th from a recognised board are eligible to get admission in the course.

Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course.

Eligibility of pursuing diploma course is 10th standard passed with minimum 45% marks. But there is a particular time for taking addmission in diploma course. And students have to appear in entrance examination to take this course. Now it is not that time for taking addmission in diploma course. Entrance examinations is conducted in the month of March/ April. And counselling starts from May. So you have to wait for the correct time.
