See IIT has separate exams for admission in its courses so there is no chance that you can get an IIT seat based on your AIEEE result.

You will have to appear in IITJEE separately to get into IIT.
Whatsoever your rank may be in AIEEE it doesn't matter with your IIT seat.

Yes, of course you can join IITs after appearing in AIEEE.

But for that, you will have to get very good rank in AIEEE.

It doesn't matter whether you appear in AIEEE from Chennai or any other part of the country.
