Re: Preparing for GATE(Life Sciences) : How to prepare for GATE in short time?
1)In short Duration of time you can can't finish Studying the whole syllabus, best thing you can do is that, go through 10 Question paper of Previous year, what every the question asked ,go to that topic and study fully
2)Life science is easy when compared to other subject , because most of the question will be theory only, so no problem, refer book R K Publication 3)From last year 10 Aptitude question is asked in GATE, so be strong in that out of 65 question,10 question is aptitude and for the other thing you need to prepare well in Technical Best of luck |

Hi,
Khusboo Its really a short time from now on. The GATE exam is scheduled on 13th Feb'2011. But don't be panic. If you are strong in basics, then you can crack this exam. You need minimum of 25 GATE score out of 100. So my advice is you to check out your syllabus and prepare in those area where you feel you are strong. You can do it. All the best. Thank you. |

the GATE examination is after 1 or 1and half months. it is not possible to make good result after studying only for these few days. but try to do the best in these days.
to be prepare for GATE first go through the syllabus and try to find out which part of the syllabus you have very good idea. then try to revise that portion carefully from a good book or the book from where you have already studied. collect some previous year question papers. from they question paper guess which type of questions come in the GATE paper. try to be prepare for that type of paper. actually in GATE question come from the basic part of the subject. if you have a good knowledge on your subject then it will be very much easy for you to do good score in GATE examination. in GATE there is 15 marks aptitude question. try to be prepare for aptitude. because if you can secure good marks from it then it will be very easy for you to clear the cut off. in the examination don't try to answer the question about which you are not sure. because there are negative marking in GATE examination. try to give answer so that you can clear the cut off. i think you should try to give answer of 25 or 30 question in GATE examination. best wishes. |

Re: Preparing for GATE(Life Sciences) : How to prepare for GATE in short time?
In order to attempt the GATE exam in a successful manner, i am providing guidelines that might be helpful for you.
-As you have less time, make time table yourself for that short period so that you can complete the syllabus in time -Allocate time to each subject. As you have less time, first try to complete the subjects which you feel easy. -Practice more on previous year question papers. -Purchase GATE questions and answers book. Practice questions from those books. -Collect notes from GATE forums and other resources. So that you may come to know what are the important questions. -Try to study the difficult subjects in the early morning session. Start your preparation from the early morning 4'o clock. -Follow the principle of Early to bed and early to rise. |
